Kyung Hee University at 33rd on QS Asia University Ranking: All-Time High Record

Kyung Hee University is ranked 33rd in the 2017 QS Asia University Rankings (6th among Korean universities), which is an all-time high record


Kyung Hee has shown a balanced growth in all evaluative criteria that led to moving up 4 spots compared to the previous year. Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation rose by 7 and 2 spots respectively. The Papers per Faculty metric improved by 17 spots, and the criterion of Citation per Paper rose by 10 spots. The Faculty/Student Ratio, an important indicator of the educational environment, is holding at the same rank as the previous year. The index of Staff with PhD showed a significant improvement by rising 44 ranks.

Citations per Paper at an all-time high 39th, moved up 10 spots from the year before
The criterion of Citation per Paper, a major qualitative index of academic performance, has trended marked improvement over the years. Starting at 118th in 2010, it rose between 6 and 32 ranks every year until it reached 39th in 2017, an all-time high record for Kyung Hee.

The Employer Reputation matrix is also rising rapidly. It started at 81st in 2012, 48th in 2013 breaching the top 50 for the first time, stayed in the top 40 since 2015, and has now reached 35th this year. The advancement in Employer Reputation indicates the improving workplace performance of Kyung Hee alums and its positive appraisal in the job market.
