To "create a civilized world" in accordance with its founding principles, Kyung Hee University is continuing its tradition of "Scholarship and Peace" through the University Lecture series. This series invites world-renowned scholars at the forefront of academia and the history of knowledge to discuss a better future for nations and humanity in the spirit of "introspection and creation." The University Lectures began in 2011 with a series of lectures by Lee Jung Sik, emeritus professor at the University of Pennsylvania and internationally respected scholar in modern history. In the coming years, the University Lecture series will continue to work towards creating a more peaceful future and new perspectives on civilization by inviting scholars, professionals, and practitioners from around the world.
