President's New Year's Address

President's New Year's Address

2021 is a special year for Kyung Hee. It marks the centennial of the founder's birth. When I took the office on February 14 of last year, I emphasized the founding philosophy of “Creating a Civilized World” and “Academe and Peace.” The founder’s vision of “Towards Global Eminence” lies in successful continuance of this illustrious tradition. Looking out to the world, we will endeavor to spread the excellence of academics and practice on a global scale. Looking inside, we will do our best to create a university community of considerateness, respect, solidarity, and creativity.

In these difficult times, I sincerely wish that your plans for 2021 would come true. The dreams and hopes of our members are vital for the leap forward of the University. Together, the members of Kyung Hee community can take control of their life, and the University can advance along with its members. We will do our best to realize that dream.

2021 is the year of the white cattle belting out auspicious energy. I sincerely wish you to let go of all your anxiety and consternation and begin a new year filled with joy, hope, happiness, and confidence.
